Job summary

South Downs Education Trust is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (Fixed Term) at Worthing High School. The role supports students on the Inclusion Support Register within mainstream classes, working with teachers and the Inclusion Team to provide targeted interventions.

The successful candidate will be well organised, personable and committed to safeguarding, with GCSEs including English and Maths. Term-time with INSET days and specific hours.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade A* to C including English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Support and guidance for identified students on the Inclusion Support Register.
• Work with students in mainstream classes alongside teaching staff.
• Deliver interventions and contribute to programmes of support as directed by the Inclusion Team.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers on student progress.
• Ensure safeguarding and promote welfare of children at all times.
