Landkey Community Primary Academy is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join our school team. You will support learning in the classroom and small groups, helping to create an inclusive and engaging environment. The role requires collaboration with staff and a focus on pupil wellbeing.

Essential experience includes supporting children, safeguarding knowledge, and strong English communication. The role is a fixed-term, part-time position with pro-rata salary guidance and DBS requirement.

Competenze

• Experience working with or caring for children of a relevant age.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and strategies to remove barriers to learning.
• Strong communication skills, including confidence and fluency in spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to relate well to both children and adults.

Mansioni

• Support pupils’ welfare and personal care, including those with SEND.
• Implement literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Assist with planning cycles and preparing learning resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence.
• Supervise break/lunchtimes and accompany pupils on trips when required.
