Job summary

Bures CEVC Primary School is seeking an effective and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team. You will work under the guidance of teaching staff to help pupils access the best possible education at Bures, Suffolk.

We are offering a permanent position with 12.5 hours per week, pro rata salary £26,017 - £26,846, and opportunities to contribute to English and Maths teaching programs alongside experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Engage pupils in quality learning
• Enjoy working with individuals with varied strengths and needs
• Some experience of working with children
• Liaise closely with the class teacher
• Have a good sense of humour and enjoy teamwork

Responsibilities

• Establish positive relationships and implement planned learning activities and teaching programmes (English and Maths) as agreed with the teacher
• Participate in planning and evaluating learning activities with the teacher
• Provide feedback to the teacher on pupil progress and promote inclusion in the classroom
