Job summary

Aspris Coleg North Wales is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant on a bank basis to join our education team. The role supports across all key stages, assisting young adults with their work and helping manage pupil behaviour while modelling positive conduct.

The successful candidate will have Level 2 or equivalent qualification appropriate to the teaching and learning environment of learners and young adults, including Maths and English.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting in a classroom setting.
• Level 2 or equivalent qualification appropriate to the teaching and learning environment of learners and young adults, Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the young adults with their work and support their learning.
• Support across all key stages and adapt practice as needed.
• Establish good relationships with pupils and act as a role model.
• Respond to individual needs and support pupil behaviour.
