Job summary

BLACKSTONE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is advertising a Learning Support Assistant role at a special school in Southend for up to 130 students aged 14-19 with SLD and PMLD. The post is term-time only, 30 hours per week, with a start date of immediately and a salary of £14.37 per hour.

The successful applicant will join a dedicated team, support students with complex needs, and attend to personal care needs under the guidance of the class teacher; training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with students with severe learning disabilities (SLD) and autism is ideal, but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
