Job summary

Responsibilities

• Be crucial in supporting students with learning, development and progress across the curriculum in classrooms, local environments and community settings.
• Help students with a range of needs, including PMLD, complex medical conditions and autism to achieve educational and personal goals.
• Support an environment that promotes equality, diversity and respect for all learners.
• Place emphasis on support and empowerment of young people.
• Develop understanding of Special Education issues in line with school values.
• Provide high quality support in all aspects of the role.
• Role may involve participation in physical intervention and personal care routines.
