Job summary

Rudyard Kipling Primary School and Nursery in Leek is seeking a charismatic Learning Support Assistant on a fixed term basis to support children with individualised, creative provision. You will join our nurturing, inclusive culture; support learners on individualised plans; plan engaging activities; and work with the SENCo and teachers to help every child reach their best.

To follow our Empowerment Approach and School Values to enhance the children's learning
To have an understanding of strategies which support SEND learners, such as Just Right, Makaton, Visuals, structure and routine
To have experience of supporting children with challenging needs and behaviour
To establish positive relationships with parents and families
