Job summary

Sutton High School is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (Level 3 or above) to support a named pupil on a 1:1 basis and assist in our Neurodiversity Hub. The role is part-time, term-time only, with an EHCP focus and strong emphasis on developing study skills and social readiness.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised TA qualification (NVQ, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC) or equivalent and possess excellent communication and empathy to build positive relationships with children and

• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant with a recognised TA qualification (NVQ, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent).
• Ability to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis and in group settings.
• Strong communication, listening and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to named pupil with EHCP social communication needs.
• Support students in the Neurodiversity Hub with independent study.
• Foster social interaction, readiness for school and learning progress.
