Job summary

Tempest Resourcing Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with an EHC plan. You will work under a qualified teacher to deliver personalised learning activities and wellbeing support.

The role emphasises building strong, positive relationships with the pupil, staff and parents, helping the child reach academic and social goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
• Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum is advantageous

In this rewarding role, you will provide personalised 1:1 support, helping a child achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Working under the guidance of a qualified teacher, you will assist with learning activities, wellbeing support, and the implementation of tailored educational programmes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
• Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly desirable
• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
• Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting children's learning and development
