Job summary

Haylands Primary School, supported by The Isle of Wight Council, seeks an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to help deliver high-quality support for pupils. The role involves 1-1 and small group work, and contributing to interventions under the guidance of the teaching team.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 Maths/English qualification (or equivalent) and paediatric first aid, or be willing to undertake training.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting pupils on a 1-1 basis and in small groups.
• Experience of delivering interventions.
• Paediatric first aid qualification (or willing to complete training).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1-1 basis and in small groups to raise attainment.
