Job summary

The David Ross Education Trust is seeking a dedicated individual to work as a cover supervisor within one of its academies in the United Kingdom. The role involves implementing agreed work programmes for individuals or groups, in or out of the classroom, and undertaking cover duties as required by the Academy Principal.

You will liaise with staff and professionals, deliver small group interventions, and support the school’s aims and ethos while promoting safeguarding.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• GCSE in English and Maths/ equivalent.
• Previous experience of working with children of relevant age.
• Able and willing to be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
• Ability and willingness to identify own training needs and participate in training.
• Experience of working with students with SEN needs and experience of supporting individual children in a classroom on a 1:1 basis would be desirable.

Responsibilities
