Job summary

Find. is seeking Learning Support Assistants for a large college group across Portsmouth, Winchester and surrounding areas. Roles include 1:1 and in-class support for SEND and mainstream learners, with permanent and temporary positions available.

Candidates with experience in education, SEND, or learning support, and Level 3 education or equivalent are welcomed. Strong communication, patience and adaptability are essential to help students overcome barriers and achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, SEND, learning support, teaching assistance or similar settings.
• Experience supporting learners with learning difficulties, disabilities, autism, ADHD or other additional needs.
• Strong communication skills, patience, good judgement and adaptability.
• Level 3 education or equivalent experience is desirable.

We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants for a large college group across Portsmouth, Winchester and surrounding areas.

We have opportunities supporting both SEND and mainstream learners, with a range of permanent and temporary positions available.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide academic, pastoral and practical support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.

About You

We are looking for candidates with experience in education, SEND, learning support, teaching assistance or similar settings.

Experience supporting learners with learning difficulties, disabilities, autism, ADHD or other additional needs is particularly relevant for SEND positions.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, patience, good judgement and the ability to adapt their approach to individual learners.

Level 3 education or equivalent experience is desirable.
