Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Bristol. You will work with pupils in KS1, support lesson delivery and help maintain a positive, engaging learning environment.

The role is part-time, on-site, temporary with ASAP start and pay between £14.25 and £15.50 per hour. You will collaborate with teachers to foster confidence and independence in young learners.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1.
• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Adaptability and excellent classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support across KS1 and assist class teachers with learning activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help create an engaging classroom environment.
• Support pupils with their learning, monitor progress and report findings.

The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide day-to-day support across Key Stage 1 / KS1. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work alongside class teachers to support pupils with their learning, encourage positive behaviour and help create an engaging classroom environment.
