The Supply Register Ltd. is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across secondary schools in Liverpool. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management, and provide support to pupils with SEND/SEMH.

We offer immediate starts with day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements across Merseyside, with the potential for permanent roles. You’ll be part of a supportive team making a real difference.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ASD or SEMH is desirable.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Newly qualified and aspiring Teaching Assistants are encouraged to apply.
• Genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them reach their potential.

Daily Rate: £90–£100 per day, depending on experience and role

We have a variety of opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements, with the potential for permanent positions.

Whether you're an experienced Learning Support Assistant or looking to take your first steps into education, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a real difference to young people's lives.

The Role – What will you be doing?

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Providing additional support to pupils with SEND, SEMH and other additional learning needs.
• Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Building strong relationships with teachers, support staff, pastoral teams, parents and carers.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH, is desirable but not essential.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Newly qualified and aspiring Teaching Assistants are encouraged to apply.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential.
• Excellent communication skills and an adaptable approach.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through The Supply Register.
