Job summary

Halfpenny Lane Junior, Infant & Nursery School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in the classroom and help create a positive learning environment. No prior school experience required as full training and support are provided.

Role involves supporting pupils individually or in small groups, assisting teachers with activities, and promoting inclusive learning. A permanent, part-time role of 27.5 hours per week within term time plus 2 days (192 days)

Qualifications

  • Caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in the classroom.
  • Full training and support provided; no prior school experience required.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive learning environment and inclusivity.

We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in the classroom and help create a positive learning environment.Whether you're new to working in education or looking for a fresh start, we'll support you every step of the way with full training and support - no school experience required.

What you'll do:

  1. Support pupils individually or in small groups
  2. Assistteachers with learning activities,interventionsand classroom tasks
  3. Encourage positive pupil behaviour and active engagement in lessons
  4. Support pupil's wellbeing and promote inclusion across the school

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, is patient and supportive, and wants to contribute to an inspiring and nurturing school environment.

Contract details:

  1. Permanent position available
  2. 27.5 hours per week
  3. Term time plus 2 days (192 working days per year)
  4. Monday-Fridayto be workedbetweenthehoursof 8:30 to 3:30 final times to be discussed at interview.
