Halfpenny Lane Junior, Infant & Nursery School in Pontefract is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils in the classroom and help create a positive learning environment. No previous school experience is required as full training and support are provided.
You will support pupils individually or in small groups, assist teachers with activities and promote inclusive, engaging lessons. This permanent role offers 27.5 hours weekly during term time plus 2 additional days.

Level 2 Numeracy / Literacy (or GCSE Maths and English equivalent) essential
4 or more GCSE's at grade 4/C or higher (or equivalent grades / qualifications) desirable
Qualifications in supporting pupils in a school setting (Level 2 or 3) desirable
