Job summary

Halfpenny Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School is seeking a reliable Cleaning Assistant to keep our school safe, welcoming and hygienic for children, staff and visitors. The role involves cleaning classrooms and shared spaces, refilling consumables and basic record‑keeping.

You will work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, all year round, on a permanent contract. The school values a friendly, positive attitude and collaboration within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Has a friendly, positive attitude and can communicate well with staff and pupils.
• Can work confidently both as part of a team and independently.
• Is hardworking, dependable and takes pride in keeping spaces clean.
• Ideally has experience in a similar cleaning role.
