Job summary

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (1:1) to work at a primary school in Clacton-on-Sea starting ASAP on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be closely supporting a child with special educational needs.

This is a long-term, full-time role with term-time hours 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Prospero Teaching provides in-house training and ongoing professional development to support classroom assistants.

Qualifications

• Previous TA experience.
• GCSE English and Maths grade C.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one learning support to a child with SEN.
• Support the pacing and progression of learning activities under supervision.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous TA experience
GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references
