Job summary

Pot Kiln Primary School in Sudbury is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support KS2 pupils, with a mix of one-to-one and classroom-based duties. The role runs mornings from 8.30 am to 12 pm, 39 weeks per year, on a permanent contract starting November 2026.

The ideal candidate will have SEND experience, a GCSE English and Maths grade 4, and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. DBS and safeguarding checks apply; salary is Grade 3 Point 4, with pro rata terms.

Pot Kiln Primary School are looking for an experienced, dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our happy, supportive and forward-looking school. This role will be a mix of one to one and classroom-based support across our KS2 year groups, working mornings from 8.30 am - 12 pm

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience of working with children who have SEND
• believes that all children have the potential to achieve great things
• loves working as part of team, sharing ideas and learning from others
• is keen to support the school community
• has GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and mathematics, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
