Job summary

Pot Kiln Primary School in Sudbury invites an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our KS2 team. The role is mornings 8:30 am to 12 pm, 17.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, with a permanent contract starting November 2026.

You will support pupils with SEND, provide both 1:1 and classroom-based help, and work closely with teachers to enable every child to reach their potential. A GCSE English and Maths grade 4 (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 2 are required.

Pot Kiln Primary School are looking for an experienced, dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our happy, supportive and forward-looking school. This role will be a mix of one to one and classroom-based support across our KS2 year groups, working mornings from 8.30 am - 12 pm

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience of working with children who have SEND
• believes that all children have the potential to achieve great things
• loves working as part of team, sharing ideas and learning from others
• is keen to support the school community
• has GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and mathematics, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
