Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a specialist SEN school in Salford. The role is term-time only, with PAYE daily rates of £95–£100, dependent on experience and qualifications. You will provide tailored 1:1 and group support to pupils with Autism and learning difficulties.

Qualifications

The School & the Role

This specialist SEN school in Salford supports children with Autism (ASC) and Moderate Learning Difficulties, creating a calm, structured environment where every pupil is known, supported, and valued.

We’re recruiting a Learning Support Assistant who is genuinely committed to special education. You’ll work with a small class, delivering tailored 1:1 and group support, helping pupils develop communication, independence, and confidence in learning in this term-time only role.

You’ll join a warm, experienced SEN team, benefit from excellent facilities, and gain meaningful experience in a school that prioritises staff support and pupil progress.

Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet the Below)

• Have previous experience supporting children or young people or vulnerable adults
• Have a strong understanding of Autism and learning difficulties, including behaviour regulation and sensory needs.
• Are patient, resilient, and adaptable, and confident working in a specialist school setting.
• Hold the right to work in the UK and can provide two references, including one recent reference from education or care.
