Job summary

Exclusive Education Ltd is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a full-time role in St Helens. You will provide one-on-one and small group support to students, assist with learning strategies, and collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor progress.

The role offers stability, a clear daily rate of pay (£95-£100 per day), and a supportive school environment. A commitment to safeguarding and SEN experience are essential for success.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with students.

• Flexible and adaptable to meet varied student needs, with safeguarding mindset.
• At least 6 months experience within the last 2 years working with children or young people with SEN.

• Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students
• A compassionate and proactive approach to supporting student development.
• A good understanding of the challenges some students face in learning and the strategies that can support them.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of students.A commitment to promoting equal opportunities and safeguarding.
• At least 6 months experience within the last 2 years ideally working with children and Special Educational Needs
• Enhanced DBS check on the online update service or willing to get one
• Ability to provide two professional childcare references within the last 2 years

You will be working with an experienced team of education specialist whose sole focus is on the Primary sector.
