Job summary

OneSchool Global UK Ridgeway Campus is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help students with SEND access learning, build confidence and independence, working with teachers and the SENDCo to tailor support.

You will support individual students and small groups, assist with lesson prep and resources, monitor progress and contribute to inclusive, safe learning environment while engaging in staff development.

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across our campus.

About The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, the SENDCo and wider school staff to provide tailored support that enables students to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their potential.

You will support individual students and small groups, helping to create positive learning experiences while promoting independence, resilience and engagement. The role offers variety, challenge and reward, with opportunities to contribute to the wider life of the school and further develop your skills through ongoing professional development.

What You'll Be Doing

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting students with SEND across a range of subjects and age groups.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about supporting children and young people to succeed.

• A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.


• Organised, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Comfortable using technology to support learning.


• Committed to safeguarding, wellbeing and promoting positive outcomes for young people.

It would be great if you have

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant.


• At least three years' experience supporting children's learning.


• An NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) and/or a willingness to continue professional development.


• Experience supporting students with SEND within a school setting.
