Are you looking for a new role? We are seeking a Full Time Learning Support Assistant to support our Young People for 32 hours per week, during term time only.
You will support our young people in their development by providing physical and emotional assistance. The role involves working as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy, and caring environment that prioritizes the health, safety, and welfare of our young people. Ultimately, you will serve as a role model to our students.
Cambian Pengwern College is a 52-week placement provision with a proud and successful tradition of supporting students aged 16–25 who have Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs, including some challenging behaviors. The college helps students gain valuable life skills, qualifications, and confidence to support their journey towards independence. The Head of College and the dedicated team aim to expand this support to a wider range of young people and adults as part of ongoing developments across the college. The college's purpose is to prepare students for adult life through staff expertise and specialist approaches, providing a nurturing and therapeutic environment that encourages academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.
