Cambian Pengwern College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work 35 hours per week during term time. Flexibility and a passion to develop skills are essential; knowledge of catering or the food industry is beneficial, and a full UK driving licence is desirable.

Important qualities of this role are having a knowledge of catering or the food industry, being a good role model and conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times whilst on duty or representing the company at outside events.
Cambian Pengwern College is a 52-week placement provision, has a proud and successful tradition of supporting students between the ages of 16-25 who have Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs, including some challenging behaviours, to gain valuable life skills, qualifications and confidence to support their onward journey towards independence. The Head of College and the dedicated team recognise this success and want to offer this opportunity to a wider range of young people and adults as part the ongoing developments that are taking place across all areas of the college. The purpose of the school is to prepare students for the demands of adult life through staff expertise and specialist approaches. This included providing a nurturing and therapeutic environment that encourages students to flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
