Long Term Futures are working alongside a nurturing, inclusive primary school in Wandsworth (SW11), seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their KS1 team. This long-term position is ideal for someone who thrives on helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you won't just be supporting - you'll be shaping experiences that matter. Your day-to-day work will involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs
• Using visual aids, sensory strategies, and personalised routines to meet specific learning needs
• Delivering targeted interventions across literacy, numeracy and emotional regulation
• Supporting transitions between tasks and environments to reduce anxiety and build confidence
• Supporting pupils in managing behaviour positively and consistently, aligned with school policies
• Assisting in the preparation of resources, adapting activities to make learning accessible to all

Who We're Looking For:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but not essential for the right experience
• Solid understanding of SEND and how to adapt support accordingly
• Confidence in delivering interventions and contributing to EHCP reviews
• Empathetic, reliable, and able to work calmly under pressure
• Committed to long-term growth - for the pupils and for yourself
