GSL Education is working with Special Needs and Mainstream schools in Liskeard, seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their team.

Your role will involve helping students become as independent as possible, recognizing their achievements, and supporting them in developing vital life skills. Responsibilities include assisting children and young people with daily personal care needs such as changing, toileting, and dressing.

Who we are looking for:

We seek compassionate, patient Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term positions. An adaptable approach, a good sense of humor, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff are essential.

YOU MUST HAVE A UK DRIVING LICENSE AND YOUR OWN CAR FOR THIS ROLE.

Requirements for Learning Support Assistant:

• Experience supporting children with SEND (professionally or personally)

• Collaborative approach with teachers, parents, and professionals
• Availability to start ASAP on a full-time basis
