This school is seeking a patient, enthusiastic, and caring Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive and supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who need additional support in accessing learning and achieving their full potential. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Learning Support Assistant:

1. Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, EAL, or SEMH, in the classroom and through small group or 1:1 interventions.

2. Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

3. Helping students develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.

4. Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching and SEN staff.

5. Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing in line with school policy.

Ideal Learning Support Assistant:

1. Has experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable).

2. Is calm, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

3. Is flexible, proactive, and able to respond to individual needs as a Learning Support Assistant.

4. Has strong literacy and numeracy skills (minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths).

5. Is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners.
