Job description

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (1:1) to work at a primary school in Ipswich starting from April (After Easter) on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be closely supporting a child in KS1 with special educational needs. This role is for mornings only.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

1. Location - Ipswich, Suffolk
2. Position - Learning Support Assistant
3. Contract or position start date - April 2025
4. Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing booking
5. Contract type - Long-Term
6. Full time/part time - Part-time (mornings only)
7. Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £60 per day
8. Hours - 8:30am- 12:30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Previous TA experience
2. GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional child related references
