Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd. is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant in the Chichester area to support pupils across the school day. The role runs January 2027, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a view to extend beyond the academic year.

A salary of £12,700 is offered for this temporary, full-time position. The successful candidate will assist with learning inside and outside the classroom, including break times and lunchtimes, and will work closely with teachers and external professionals to foster

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children's learning in a primary setting.

Pay Rate: £12,700 actual salary (Grade 3 equivalent)

About the Role

Supply Desk is working with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in the Chichester area to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from January 2027.

This is a rewarding opportunity to become part of a creative and supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will provide support across the school day, helping pupils with their learning both inside and outside the classroom. This will include classroom-based support, as well as assisting children during break and lunchtime.

Candidates holding an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant qualification would be particularly welcomed, although we would also love to hear from enthusiastic and caring individuals with relevant experience supporting children.
