Job summary

Engage Education is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with MLD, ASC, behaviour challenges and sensory-based learning needs in Greenwich schools. The roles offer immediate start, full-time hours, and hands-on intervention support in small groups and 1:1 settings.

Candidates should have experience with SEN and a willingness to work with diverse learning needs. DBS check and recognised teaching qualifications are required, with Engaging support and CPD opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• All applicants require the appropriate qualifications, and all teachers require a formally recognised teaching qualification.
• DBS check is required before starting work.

SEN School Teaching Assistant

We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in Greenwich and we’re now looking to increase our pool of SEN Teaching Assistants we can offer to these great schools. We have a variety of Teaching Assistant positions available, to start immediately.

The students have the following learning needs

• MLD
• ASC
• Behaviour issues

It is also advantageous if the candidate has experience with sensory-based learning.

About the role:

• Earn up to £500 per week
• Full-time positions available
• Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
• 1:1 support for special needs and lower-ability pupils
• Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
• Supporting students with challenging behaviour
