InspireU Grantham is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help learners aged 16 to 24 overcome barriers and build confidence through Maths, English and Preparing for Adulthood activities. You will support students 1:1 or in small groups, encouraging practice and applying learning to real-life contexts.

Competenze

• Experience supporting learners aged 16–24 in educational settings.
• Ability to help manage behaviour and keep learners engaged in lessons.
• Experience delivering support in 1:1 or small group tutorials.

At InspireU, we support young people aged 16 to 24 to achieve their potential, particularly those who may face academic or behavioural barriers to learning. Our learners take part in Maths, English and Preparing for Adulthood programmes designed to build both their skills and confidence. As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will work alongside learners, providing encouragement and guidance as they develop new knowledge and put their learning into practice in meaningful, everyday situations.

Our LSAs work with learners either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. We work in learning environments designed to be smaller than your average classroom with classes of no more than 14. Day to day you will be assisting learners by helping manage their behaviour and ensuring they are engaged in lessons where each day presents new opportunities, challenges and possibilities.

This is a permanent contract working at our InspireU Grantham site.
