Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is assisting a welcoming primary school in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 SEN support, targeted interventions and classroom assistance.

The role focuses on helping pupils access learning, with opportunities to develop experience within primary SEN provision and work closely with teachers and support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary school is desirable.
• Patience, consistency and confidence when supporting pupils needing extra help.
• Experience with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties or behaviour support would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Providing targeted 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
• Delivering planned interventions individually and in small groups.
• Supporting pupils to remain engaged and independent in lessons.

Learning Support Assistant, Gerrards Cross, BuckinghamshireSEN Support | Primary School | 1:1 & Intervention Work | Immediate Start Available Learning Support Assistant opportunity in a primary school supporting pupils with SEN through targeted interventions and 1:1 support.

Learning Support Assistant required for a welcoming primary school in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, supporting pupils with special educational needs through 1:1 assistance, small-group intervention and classroom support.This is a pupil-focused position within a primary setting where you will work closely with class teachers and the wider support team to help children access learning and make progress.

You will support pupils who may require additional help with areas including communication, literacy, numeracy, attention, behaviour and social development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing targeted 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs

What we are looking for...

Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school is highly desirable. You should be patient, consistent and confident working with pupils who require additional support. Experience with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties or behaviour support would be beneficial.
