Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Gateshead. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support to help students engage with their learning and assist teachers with classroom activities.

This is a full-time, ongoing role with an ASAP start, offering the rewarding chance to make a real difference to students' learning, confidence and development.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with young people within the past two years.
• Patient, caring and positive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Genuine passion for education and supporting young people's development.
• Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete with support.

The Ideal Candidate

Pay & Opportunity

Pay: £95-£115 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.

Location: Gateshead.

Working pattern: Full-Time.

Contract: Ongoing on a long term basis.
