Job summary

Elloughton Primary School, under East Riding of Yorkshire Council, invites applications for two Learning Support Assistants to join the Key Stage 1/2 team. Roles are 17.5h (Mon-Fri 12:00–15:30) and 16.25h (Mon-Thurs 13:00–15:30, Fri 08:45–15:30) per week, term-time pro rata.

You will work under the direction of the phase leader and Inclusion Manager to tailor support, deliver interventions, and foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with children, parents and staff.

Elloughton Primary School are seeking two positive, hardworking and skilled Learning Support Assistants to join our dedicated and innovative Key Stage 1/ Key Stage 2 team to commence as soon as possible.

You will work under the direction of the phase leader, class teacher and Inclusion Manager.

We are looking for an excellent LSA who can:

• Tailor support to the specific needs of pupils.
• Build a very good relationship with the children, parents and staff.
• Help promote high expectations and enthusiasm for learning.
• Be a positive member of the school team.
• Deliver interventions.
• Nurture our pupils to support their emotional, health and wellbeing.
• Has knowledge and understanding of a range of learning difficulties and additional needs.
• Previous knowledge and experience of working with children is desirable.
