A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs within a dedicated SEN unit and make a genuine impact on their educational journey.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, with a particular focus on supporting children with autism. The role involves providing one-to-one and small group support, assisting in classroom activities, and delivering targeted interventions. You'll be part of a collaborative, experienced team focused on promoting inclusion and positive outcomes for every child.
Key Requirements:
Experience supporting children with special educational needs, either in a school setting or through personal/family experience
A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs
Ideally, previous classroom-based experience within a primary school
Strong phonics knowledge and experience delivering phonics support
Good IT skills, with the ability to support both learning and administrative tasks
A proactive, patient and adaptable approach to working with pupils with varying needs
