Job summary

Northbrook College invites applications for a part-time Learning Support Assistant role during term-time. You will support students with learning, emotional, social and behavioural needs, both in and out of the classroom, under college policies.

You will assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials and help with administration of the provision, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
• Ability to adapt learning materials.
• Effective time management in term-time settings.

Learning Support Assistant

As our Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• -Support, within and outside the classroom, the learning and emotional/social/ behavioural needs of students receiving additional support, in accordance with college policies.
• -Assist the Additional Learning Support Manager, Learning Support Assistant Manager, Senior Learning Support Assistants and Lecturers in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials/resources.
• -Take part in and ensure smooth and effective administration of the provision.
