Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Salary: £12.82 per hour
Start Date: Immediate/September 2025
Contract: Full-time (Part-time can also be arranged for the right candidate)

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive secondary school in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in students' lives by helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist in Delivering Lessons: Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across different subjects.
• Provide One-to-One or Small Group Support: Help students who need extra support to understand and access the curriculum.
• Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
• Support Student Development: Assist in the academic, social, and emotional development of students, including those with additional learning needs.
• Help with Classroom Management: Support the teacher in maintaining an orderly and productive classroom.

Criteria for Applicants:

• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant is preferred, but not essential.
• Passion for helping students achieve their best and build confidence in their abilities.
• SEN experience is an added bonus and will be highly valued.
• Ability to adapt and support a variety of learning needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps explained.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
