Job Description:
ü Provide Individualised Support: Work one-to-one or in small groups to support students with a range of learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum effectively.
ü Enhance Classroom Learning: Assist teaching staff in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across a variety of subjects.
ü Foster Positive Relationships: Build strong, supportive relationships with students to encourage confidence, independence and self-esteem.
ü Monitor and Support Progress: Observe and track students' development, feeding back to teachers and contributing to support plans.
ü Champion Inclusion: Play a key role in promoting a culture of respect, equality, and opportunity for all students.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
ü Have previous experience supporting young people in a secondary school setting (desirable but not essential).
ü Be passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping every student succeed.
ü Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic nature.
ü Be confident working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
ü Hold a current and valid DBS certificate, or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
