Job summary

Kennel Lane School is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to contribute to a varied environment for learners aged 3-19 with diverse needs. You will assist with sensory circuits, class-based support, personal care and engaging learners in PE, while also helping with cleaning spaces and supervising breaks.

The role involves off-site activities and community trips requiring up to 30 minutes of walking. Flexibility across the school and adherence to Behaviour Management procedures are

Responsibilities

• A varied working environment supporting with a range of activities such as, but not limited to; sensory circuits, class-based support, cleaning spaces, supervising breaks, personal care and engaging learners in PE.
• Supporting with a range of off-site activities and trips; please note that you will be required to walk for at least 30 min. supporting our learners with a variety of activities such as, community links.
• Following the school Behaviour Management procedures to manage dysregulated learners.
• Working flexibly across the school with all age ranges.
