Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their learning journey? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Blackburn is seeking a Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Work closely with class teachers to support students with a range of additional learning needs
• Provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils to access the curriculum and achieve their potential
• Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
• Help create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in a secondary school setting
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
