Job summary

New Directions Education Ltd is recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work in welcoming Bradford schools. We are particularly interested in full-time LSAs, though flexible opportunities may be available.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide essential classroom support, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or similar school-based role.
• Previous classroom experience is essential.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A flexible, proactive and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Providing classroom support as a Learning Support Assistant.

Due to growing demand, we are particularly interested in candidates seeking full-time Learning Support Assistant roles, although flexible opportunities may also be available.

About the Learning Support Assistant Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide essential classroom support, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. This Learning Support Assistant position may involve supporting individuals, small groups, or whole-class activities across different age groups and abilities.
