Job summary

Westborough High School is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Resource Centre Manager (Library) to lead our Learning Resource Centre and foster a strong culture of reading across the school.

You will create an inclusive, welcoming library environment, manage the day-to-day library service, develop engaging book provision, monitor pupil engagement, and collaborate with the literacy team to support curriculum priorities and independent learning.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Learning Resource Centre and ensure high‑quality library provision.
• Monitor pupil engagement with the library and promote reading across the school.
• Collaborate with the literacy team to support curriculum and reading priorities.
• Create displays, events and initiatives to increase reading engagement.
• Ensure inclusive provision for all pupils, including SEND and reluctant readers.
• Oversee day‑to‑day library operations and liaise with staff to support learning.
