Job summary

Milk Education, in partnership with a large Greenwich secondary school, is recruiting a dedicated Learning Mentor to join the pastoral support team. This role suits a compassionate and resilient individual passionate about helping students overcome barriers to education.

The Learning Mentor will work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions, supporting wellbeing, attendance and engagement, and helping pupils develop organisation and study skills while

Responsibilities

• Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions focused on wellbeing, attendance and engagement
• Assisting students with social, emotional or behavioural challenges
• Helping pupils develop organisation, study skills and positive learning behaviours
• Building trusting relationships to encourage confidence, resilience and self-esteem
• Collaborating with Heads of Year, pastoral leaders and teaching staff
• Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records of interventions
• Supporting students at risk of disengagement and aiding reintegration into school life
