Job summary

Sir John Offley CE Primary School is seeking a proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our caring team. The post supports teaching and learning across key stages, leading activities and delivering targeted pupil support.

This role is permanent and part-time (26 hours/week), with a pro rata salary of £31,015–£34,811. We value inclusive practice, teamwork and strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Qualifications

• Has experience of working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA within a primary school setting.
• Holds a relevant Level 4 qualification or equivalent qualification/experience.
• Has high expectations of themselves and the children they work with.
• Is confident supporting and leading learning across a range of year groups.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is patient, caring and committed to helping every child succeed.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and willing to contribute to the wider life of our school.
• Has a reliable, flexible and good-humoured nature
