Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Mentor at Carshalton College to support learners with mental health or medical conditions, disabilities or learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and complete their courses.

The role requires excellent communication and mentoring skills, with a Level 2 English/Literacy and Level 1 Maths qualification. The position offers a salary of £28,836–£30,558 with generous leave and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring young people in education or similar settings.
• Level 2 English/Literacy and Level 1 Maths qualifications required.
• Ability to support learners with mental health, disability or learning needs.
