Job summary

Carshalton College's King’s Trust program is seeking a Learning Mentor to support learners with mental health or medical conditions, disabilities or learning difficulties, helping them access the curriculum and progress through their course.

This role requires experience with young people in mentoring roles, excellent communication, and a minimum of Level 2 English/Literacy and Level 1 Maths. Salary £28,836–£30,558 per annum, with enhanced leave and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people in a supporting/mentoring role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Level 2 English/Literacy and Level 1 Maths as minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support and mentor learners with mental health or medical conditions, disability or learning difficulty to access the curriculum.
• Help learners to progress and complete their course.
