Job summary

Outwood Academy City is seeking a permanent Learning Manager to join a busy safeguarding-focused team. The role uses data and intervention strategies to monitor student attainment and support learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will work closely with staff, maintain excellent communication, and have strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office. Training on the MIS will be provided, and you will be an active member of the academy's safeguarding team.

Qualifications

• Experience using MIS systems and data to identify student needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all students in assigned year group using MIS data to identify concerns and plan interventions.
• Act as first point of contact for behaviour incidents and support consequences process.
• Communicate with parents regarding exclusions and readmission meetings.
• Collaborate with safeguarding team and leadership to promote a culture of kindness and respect.
