Job Title: LMS Administrator
Department: Training
Location: The Lodge, 92 Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald, Middlesex HA3 6DQ
Working hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Main purpose of the Job: As an LSM (Learning Management System) Administrator in the UK. This role encompasses a blend of technical expertise, user support, and organisational skills to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of online learning and training programs. The LMS Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and suppose of the organisation’s learning platform, ensuring an optimal learning experience for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration and Maintenance:
- Managing, maintaining and developing the LMS Platform (Cornerstone on Demand)
- Configuring and customising the LMS to meet the organisations needs
- Ensuring the system operated efficiently and securely
- Performing regular system checks, updates and troubleshooting technical issues
- Managing integrations with other systems (e.g. HR, CRM)
User Management
- Managing user accounts and creating accounts where needed
- Providing technical support and guidance to learner and instructors
- Troubleshooting access issues and resolving user queries promptly
- Developing user guides and training material to support effective LMS usage
Course and Content Management
- Setting up and configuring courses, modules, and learning paths within the LMS
- Uploading and organising various learning content formats (e.g., documents, videos, SCORM packages)
- Ensure that training courses are appropriately uploaded and communicated in the LMS
- Ensuring learning content is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to learners
- Managing course enrolment processes and tracking learner progress effectively
- Responsible for auditing compliance training, monitoring and editing data
Reporting and Analytics
- Generating comprehensive reports on learner activity, course completion rates, and overall system usage
- Analysing data to identify key trends, areas for improvement, and the effectiveness of learning programs
- Providing insightful reports and recommendations to relevant stakeholders
Communication and Collaboration
- Liaising effectively with instructional designers, trainers, and other stakeholders involved in learning and development
- Communicating system updates, changes, and best practices clearly to all users
- Actively gathering feedback from users to inform improvements to the LMS and the overall learning experience
Compliance and Security
- Ensuring the LMS adheres to relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and organisational policies
- Adhering to security protocols to safeguard user data and maintain system integrity
- Managing and tracking compliance training programs and completion records
Project Support
- Providing support in the planning and implementation of LMS upgrades or the introduction of new features
- Contributing to the development and execution of the organisation's e-learning strategies
Other
- Assist with any projects to meet the business requirements relating to using and configuring LMS applications
- To work as a team with other individuals and colleagues in the company, sharing knowledge when appropriate, helping colleagues and promoting a spirit of mutual respect and support
- Understand and abide by company and departmental rules, policies and procedures
- To carry out other duties as requested by management from time to time
Qualifications/Experience:
- Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent
Previous Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS) is essential
- Knowledge of Cornerstone LMS is extremely advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Proficient in the English language
- Other spoken languages are advantageous
- Knowledge of the Company’s philosophy desirable (though training will be provided)

- User Management Skills: Proven experience in creating, managing, and maintaining user accounts, roles and groups within an LMS environment
- Content Management Skills:Experience in organizing, uploading, and maintaining a diverse range of learning materials within an LMS
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Competence in generating, interpreting, and presenting reports on LMS usage and learner progress
- Customer Service:A proactive, learner-centric approach with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent support
- Project Management (Beneficial):Ability to manage timelines and effectively coordinate with stakeholders on projects related to the LMS
- Adaptability:A proactive willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to the evolving landscape of e-learning
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
