Job summary

Anglian Learning is seeking Learning Link Mentors to support students with high and complex needs at Netherhall. You may work 1:1, in pairs or small groups to aid learning, transitions and communication, guided by EHCPs and safeguarding plans.

As part of our Inclusion Faculty, you will collaborate with teachers and families, recording progress and ensuring consistent, professional boundaries while promoting learner independence.

Qualifications

• Calm, resilient, adaptable individual with 1:1 support experience.
• Willing to work across timetables and Inclusion Faculty priorities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and building professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, paired, small-group or classroom support as needed.
• Support learning, transitions, communication, emotional regulation and reintegration.
• Follow EHCPs, support plans, risk assessments, safeguarding plans, and de-escalation strategies.
• Build trusting professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries.
• Develop learner independence and avoid over-reliance on adults.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEND and safeguarding staff, families and external providers.
• Record attendance, engagement, progress, incidents and safeguarding information accurately.
